"Mine, all mine"

Films: The Strangeness (1985)

Alias: None

Type: Unknown

Location: Mountain/Cave

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: When you're going out there spelunking all the way, keep in mind that it has its hazards. There's cave-ins, unending darkness, and the occasional inexplicable abomination lying at the end of the tunnel.

History: One day, some guys decided that the key to excitement and fulfillment was to infiltrate an abandoned goldmine somewhere in the mountains. Then they got caved in. Then they realized that the place was abandoned so that everyone could keep as far away from the tentacled monstrosity as possible.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After pursuing the survivors for some time, the beast is lured into a trap that gets it blown up along with the rest of the caves by dynamite.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-It may not have the most convincing stop-motion effects, but that just makes it all the more strange. We don't know what this misshapen horror is, where it came from, or what it wants apart from food. And its jerky motions and haunting screech just make it worse.

Trivia: -The monster was actually given a name by the filmmakers. Its name? Blinky.

-If you can believe it, most of the cave scenes were done in the director’s grandparents' garage.

Oh, it'll grow on me. Soon as I figure out what it is.

Seriously. What ARE you?!
Scarier still, this look makes sense, at least.
